Karen Alexander is a bilingual Debt Solutions Counsellor in the Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc.

Based in the Moncton office; Karen travels to Northern New Brunswick to provide financial advice to clients on personal insolvency matters including creditor proposals and bankruptcy. Karen has completed her Insolvency Counsellor's Qualifications Course from the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP).

Karen comes to PricewaterhouseCoopers with a wealth experience in credit counselling, real estate, insurance and banking. She has taken a variety of courses in the above mentioned fields as well as in insolvency.

Karen specializes in the consumer debtor practice with a focus on personal bankruptcy proceedings, consumer proposals and debt counselling. Karen joined the firm in 2002, after which she completed her BIA Insolvency Counsellor's Qualification Course. She is a Commissioner of Oaths for both New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Karen brings more than 19 years' experience to her role, providing services to clients in both Moncton and northern New Brunswick.

Randolph Jones is a bilingual Certified General Accountant and licenced Trustee based in the Moncton office of PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. Mr. Jones has extensive experience in the field of insolvency as follows:

  • Corporate, business and personal bankruptcies
  • Proposals under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act
  • Coordinator under the Company Creditors Arrangement Act
  • Official Receiver under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and member of staff of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy for four years
  • Receiver, Manager and Agent for secured creditors
  • Administration and liquidation of assets for secured lenders, owners and management

In addition, he has undertaken many financial advisory assignments and investigations including the following:

  • Forensic investigations into financial failure, fraud and tracing claims
  • Investigation of financial stability and resources of owner managed businesses for secured lenders and government agencies
  • Conducting credit viability studies on chartered bank loan portfolios
  • Supervision and control of operating businesses

Randolph Jones graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor of Commerce from Loyola College. He obtained his designation as a Certified General Accountant in 1971. Mr. Jones obtained his Trustee licence in 1980 and became a general member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals that same year. Aside from the professional experience listed above, Mr. Jones has taught the Insolvency section of the New Brunswick Bar Admission Program and lectured to bankers and creditors on insolvency matters.

Matthew Munro is a senior manager in the Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. working in the Saint John office. He is part of the PwCDebtSolutions™ group, where he leads the consumer debtor practice.

Matthew has provided insolvency services through private receiverships, agency appointments, bankruptcy proceedings, and court directed services on behalf of debtors and lenders. He has completed assignments for many of the principal financial institutions including major chartered banks, trust companies, and asset based lenders.

Matthew attended New Brunswick Community College in Saint John. He is a General Member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and a General Member of the Certified General Accountants Association.

Matthew received his Trustee in Bankruptcy license from the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy in June 2003.
